Mopar Gives a Sneak Peek at Its SEMA Concepts
As we get closer to the automotive aftermarket bachanalia, Stellantis gives a clue to what we can expect to see from its performance arm.By Natalie NeffPublished: Oct 16, 2025 5:31 PM EDTSave Article

SEMA’s big show is almost three weeks away, but the folks at Mopar are champing at the bit, itching to show off some projects you’ll likely see sitting under the fluorescents next to monster truck wheel, hitch decor, and chip-it-yourself kits.
So far the Chrysler-cum-Stellantis performance parts division has release a couple of tiny teasers of what it’s calling concepts. Whether these will be full-blown concept cars or models demoing Mopar equipment we’ll likely have to wait until the show opens on November 4 to find out. Also, as it appears Mopar has released these over the last two weeks, it could mean we can expect a couple more before the month’s out.
Meantime, here is what we’ve seen:
Concept #1
Mopar
As obscured as the image is, it’s pretty clear this is a Dodge, likely a Charger, and in a electric purple hue that could hint at a vintage Dodge color called Plum Crazy. There is also a vague indication of hood humps, which should preclude it from being an electric car, but whether it resurrects the V8 or is a riff on a six-cylinder model (as guessed by this YouTuber, The Mopar Junkie) is unclear.
Concept #2
Mopar
As with the first, the brand of this concept is easily identifiable as a Ram truck, and there are a few telltales we can spot that could give further clues to what it could be. It wears an obvious power dome hood, likely with a scoop at the front. And the wheel arches are maxed out. It also clearly sports a “Symbol of Protest” badge, indicating that hood scoop feeds a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine.
One thing we’ll likely have to wait for the answer is, what’s with the cowboy hat?
