The collaboration between Mattel Creations and MoMA goes beyond just this pair of Hot Wheels models. It’s a lineup of seven Mattel toys and games that celebrate the launch of MoMA’s Samuel and Ronnie Heyman Family Art Lab and its related programs. The Art Lab is an interactive space tailored to be enjoyed by adults and children equally to experiment, play, and create ideas within modern and contemporary art. Some of the topics it has explored are those of sound, shapes, colors, nature, and many others that relate to the world and art around us.

When it comes to collectable scale-model collaborations, Mattel has been knocking it out of the park. Now comes a new pair of Hot Wheels models based on the Jaguar E-Type and the Citroën DS 23 that ties in with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and that you’ll soon be able to buy. And, oh boy, are they as gorgeous as they are tiny.
