The Jetour T2 will arrive in South Africa in October 2025, with pre-orders for this five-seater adventure SUV already open. Local specifications and pricing have yet to be confirmed.
Overseas, the T2 is available with the choice of two four-cylinder turbopetrol powertrains: 135 kW/290 N.m 1.5-litre and 187 kW/390 N.m 2.0-litre – the former and latter equipped with front- and four-wheel drivetrains, respectively. Both engine options are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. From what we’ve gathered, we expect our market will get the more powerful, 4WD derivative.
As we’ve come to expect from Chinese vehicles, the T2 is equipped with a host of convenience features as standard. The latter includes 10.25-inch digital instrumentation; 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment, replete with smartphone screen mirroring; and dual-zone climate control. Six-, eight- and 12-speaker audio systems, wireless smartphone charging, and heated/ventilated front seats are also available depending on the model
