Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division, has showcased a new Ombre paint scheme. The handcrafted paint scheme includes a full-body faded finish that fades one colour into the next throughout the entire length of the car to create the Ombre effect and is available in three paint schemes.
Bentley states that it takes two paint technicians and 56 hours to execute the handcrafted hue. The Continental GT Speed is the first car to receive the Ombre paint scheme. The Continental GT Speed blends Topaz Blue in the front with the darker Windsor Blue at the back, transitioning halfway across the body. Additionally, the 22-inch wheels match the exterior finish, Topaz blue in the front and Windsor Blue at the rear.
The interior receives the same treatment, with the front seats, steering wheel, door cards, dashboard and centre console all wrapped in Topaz hide. The rear is finished in Satin Beluga. “Dragonfly-coloured” piping and stitching have been added to the seats and doors. The veneers on the centre console, instrument panel and tread plates are also finished in Satin Beluga.
