The full complement of twisting force is available in a broad 2 100-5 500 r/min swathe of the rev band and delivered to the German marque’s quattro all-wheel-drive system via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. According to the firm, the S tronic unit has been refined with a sharper shift pattern. Throttle response has also been optimised for improved acceleration, the automaker says.
Audi claims the more powerful S3 completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.7 seconds, before topping out at an electronically governed 250 km/h top speed.

The updated Audi S3 Sportback and Sedan have touched down on South African shores, with the local arm of the German automaker announcing pricing for the more powerful models.

2025 Audi S3 Price in SA
Locally, the facelifted S3 is priced from R1 091 100 for the Sportback variant and R1 106 100 for the Sedan derivative. Included with the asking price are a one-year/unlimited km warranty and a maintenance plan spanning five years or 100 000 km.

As standard, the S3 includes S sport suspension, which lowers the ride height by 15 mm compared to the A3, as standard. S sport suspension with adaptive dampers is available as an option. The updated S3 rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels, with customers offered the choice of three wheel designs.
Stepping inside, the S3 is equipped with Audi’s virtual cockpit digital instrumentation and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment. MMI navigation plus and a head-up display is available at additional cost.
