The SL 680 Monogram Series is the latest model in Mercedes-Maybach’s range of luxury vehicles. According to the German luxury automaker, the open-top two-seater is its sportiest model to date.

The SL 680 Monogram was presented with two curated design options: White Ambience and Red Ambience. Pictured in the image above, the former features obsidian black metallic and MANUFAKTUR opalite white magno paintwork for the upper and lower sections of the vehicle, respectively. Red Ambience combines obsidian black metallic with MANUFAKTUR garnet red metallic. However, Mercedes-Maybach offers customers the choice of over 50 MANUFAKTUR colours, available on request, which includes hues inspired by gemstones, natural elements, and contemporary design trends, including reimagined classics from the brand’s historical archives.

The front fascia is characterised by Mercedes-Maybach’s signature chrome-finished grille, featuring vertical slats and an A-shape contour. The grille and integrated ‘Maybach’ lettering are illuminated. Chrome accents can also be found on the lower bumper, side skirts and strakes, rear apron, exhaust surrounds, and windscreen frame, while rose gold accents feature in the headlamps. This SL introduces the Stuttgart company’s PixelPaint bonnet process, which allows for the incorporation of handcrafted ‘Maybach’ patterns. Subtle ‘Maybach’ patterns are also present on the soft-top roof. The SL 680 Monogram is fitted with a set of 21-inch forged wheels, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The interiors of both models feature crystal white MANUFAKTUR Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery for the seats, which gain a new floral design, door panels, and centre console. The galvanised seatbacks and trim pieces are finished in contrasting silver chrome.

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is powered by the firm’s familiar 4.0-litre biturbo V8, which produces 430 kW, sent to the brand’s 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
