Suzuki Auto South Africa maintained its strong sales momentum in September 2025, with 6 072 units sold. The strong result followed a record first half that saw over 35 000 new Suzuki vehicles delivered to South African customers. September marks the third consecutive month the Japanese automaker has sold more than 6 000 units locally, making Suzuki the second-best-selling brand in SA for the tenth straight month.

The fourth-generation Suzuki Swift remained the brand’s most popular model, accounting for more than a third of the firm’s total sales in September 2025. In the ninth month of this year, 2 265 new Swifts were sold, followed by 1 054 Fronxes, and 765 Ertigas.

Suzuki Auto SA ended the first half of its 2025/2026 financial year with a record-breaking sales figure. Between 1 April and 30 September, the company recorded a total of 35 597 new vehicles sold, 7 338 units more than those sold in the first half of the 2024/25 fiscal year.

During this period, Suzuki marked its highest dealer sales – 5 069 units in July 2025, and the overall sales record of 6 399 units in August 2025. Additionally, April also stood out as Suzuki celebrated its 300 000th local customer.

Suzuki attributes this success to its growing dealer network and diverse product range. Over the last six months, 11 599 Swift models were sold, with the Fronx and Ertiga recording 7 001 and 5 139 units sold, respectively.
